We’re excited to announce our new feature that significantly improves how you manage affiliates at scale.

Not every affiliate is the same. A YouTuber with half a million subscribers drives traffic differently than a niche blogger writing in-depth reviews, and each expects commission terms that match their impact. Until now, that meant choosing between managing everything by hand or settling for a flat structure that doesn’t do anyone justice.
That is the problem Affiliate Groups solves. Starting today, you can organize your affiliates into distinct groups, each with its own commission structure, user rewards, payout rules, and signup settings. Think of it as creating tiers - or partner tracks - that reflect how your program actually works in practice.
Here’s why that matters for growth. As your affiliate program matures, a one-size-fits-all setup becomes a bottleneck. Your top performers want higher commissions and faster payouts. New affiliates need a lower barrier to entry with auto-approval so they can start promoting right away. Seasonal partners might get a temporary boost on per-conversion rewards. Without grouping, managing all of this means manual overrides and a lot of back-and-forth. Affiliate Groups turns those workarounds into a proper workflow - set the rules once per group, and every affiliate in that group inherits them automatically.
The feature covers four key areas you can configure independently for each group:
Every project starts with a default group, so nothing changes for existing programs. From there you can spin up new groups and move affiliates between them at any time - no downtime, no disruption. Combined with the new auto-approve and auto-payout options, you can put parts of your affiliate program on autopilot while still keeping fine-grained control where it counts.
The bigger your affiliate program gets, the more time you spend on routine operations - approving new partners, reviewing payout requests, checking thresholds. Affiliate Groups ship with two automation features designed to eliminate that overhead entirely.
Auto-Approve lets you automatically accept new affiliate sign-ups for any group. This is especially powerful for your entry-level or open tiers where you want zero friction: someone finds your landing page, applies, and starts promoting within minutes - no manual review required. You can still keep your premium or invite-only groups behind a manual gate, so you get the best of both worlds.
Auto-Payouts takes the other manual bottleneck off your plate. Enable it per group and set a minimum threshold - once an affiliate’s balance crosses that line, the payout is triggered automatically. No batching at the end of the month, no reminders to process pending earnings. Your partners get paid faster, and you stop spending time on payout admin. Combined with per-group holding periods, you stay in full control of cash flow while the actual transfers happen on their own.
Together, these two settings let you build an affiliate program that essentially runs itself. New affiliates join, promote your product, earn commissions, and get paid — all without you touching a button. That frees up your time to focus on the work that actually moves the needle: recruiting high-value partners, optimizing conversion funnels, and experimenting with reward structures across your groups.
Before Affiliate Groups, every affiliate operated through its own campaign. You had to set up affiliate and user rewards individually for each one, and there were no payout settings or landing page options at all. Scaling meant duplicating the same configuration over and over, and any change to your commission structure required updating campaigns one by one.
With Affiliate Groups, campaigns are gone. Instead, you define your rules at the group level and every affiliate in that group picks them up automatically. Payout settings, landing pages, and auto-approval are now first-class features you can configure per group. And affiliates can create their own referral codes, removing another manual step from the process.
Affiliate Groups give you the flexibility to reward your best partners, experiment with new incentive models, and scale your program without scaling the manual work that comes with it. Whether you’re running a handful of affiliates or managing hundreds, groups let you stay organized and in control while automation handles the rest.
Every plan includes a default affiliate group to get you started. To unlock multiple groups, automation features, and the full range of per-group settings, check out our pricing or head straight to your dashboard to see what’s new.
