WinWinKit vs Rewardful

A side-by-side look at which platform fits your mobile app.

The Key Difference

Rewardful is built around Stripe. That’s not a criticism - it’s the whole design, and it’s why the product is so quick to start: paste two scripts, connect your Stripe account, and the two-way sync handles the rest. Commissions adjust themselves for refunds and plan changes because Rewardful is reading your billing data directly. For a SaaS product with a web checkout, that’s about as little setup as an affiliate program can take.

The design assumes your billing provider is the source of truth about a sale. On mobile it isn’t. An App Store or Google Play subscription is recorded by Apple or Google, never by Stripe, so there’s no charge for Rewardful to match a referral against. The referral link has the same problem: the click happens in a browser, the install happens in a store, and the cookie doesn’t survive the gap.

WinWinKit closes both halves for apps. Attribution rests on a code the user claims inside your app rather than on a cookie, and revenue is read from App Store Connect and Google Play directly, or through RevenueCat.

When to Choose WinWinKit

  • Your users subscribe through the app stores. Apple and Google record the purchase, not Stripe, so a platform that reconciles against your billing provider has nothing to match. WinWinKit reads the store transaction itself.
  • You want commissions off real revenue. WinWinKit reads subscription revenue directly from App Store Connect and Google Play, or through RevenueCat if that’s your setup - either way commissions follow what you actually earned, not an estimated conversion.
  • You want mobile-native rewards. A special paywall via a RevenueCat Offering, a free month via an Entitlement, or a discounted subscription via an App Store Offer Code or Google Play Promo Code - rewards that only exist in the app ecosystem.
  • Your app onboards on the web. If the first payment happens on your site and the product is delivered in the app, WinWinKit tracks the Stripe purchase alongside the store ones, so one code covers the whole funnel.
  • You need more than affiliates. Affiliate campaigns, referral programs, and promo code campaigns share one attribution system and one revenue view.
  • You build in Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, or React Native. WinWinKit ships an SDK for each; Rewardful’s client-side integration is a JavaScript snippet, with no SDK to drop into an app.

When to Choose Rewardful

  • Your product lives in the browser. Rewardful assumes a web funnel: a referral link, a cookie, and a charge your payment processor records. If your customers buy on your site, that model works and WinWinKit’s in-app codes buy you nothing.
  • You bill through Paddle. Rewardful integrates with it directly, as it does with Stripe. WinWinKit connects to RevenueCat, the app stores, and Stripe, so a Paddle-billed product has no path in.
  • You sell through a membership, course, or no-code platform. Podia, Memberstack, Bubble, Samcart, Outseta and a dozen more have ready-made integrations. WinWinKit has none of them.
